Who we are
Airral is a job search service at airral.com, apply.airral.com and app.airral.com, and a Cictus product. "We" below means Airral. Questions or requests about your data: contact@airral.com.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email address and a password (stored only as a one-way hash). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and your Google account ID.
- Your resume: the file you upload, and what we read from it, such as skills, work history and education.
- Your job search: jobs you save, where each one is in your tracker, your notes, and the match results we produce for your resume against a job.
- Employer accounts: company name and web domain, and the jobs you post.
- How the site is used: the pages you visit, the site you came from, and clicks on "Apply now". If you are signed in, these are linked to your account. To count visitors we keep a code made by scrambling your network address and browser together with the date. It changes every day, and we do not store the address itself.
- Email updates: your address, if you ask us to keep you posted.

How we use it
- To run the service: find jobs, score your resume against them, and keep your tracker.
- To send account emails: confirming your address and resetting your password.
- To keep accounts safe, for example by limiting repeated sign-in attempts.
- To understand which parts of Airral help people, so we can improve them.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show ads.
Who else handles it
- Google Cloud hosts Airral, its database and uploaded resumes, in the United States.
- Google Firebase Authentication sends our verification and password-reset emails, and confirms you opened them.
- Google Analytics measures traffic to our websites.
Jobs on Airral link to employers' own sites. When you click "Apply now" you leave Airral, and that employer's privacy policy covers what you send them.
How long we keep it
Account, resume and job-search data stay while your account is open. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months. To have your account and everything in it deleted, email contact@airral.com from the address on the account.
Your choices
- Ask to see, correct or delete your data by emailing us.
- Turn off job-alert emails in your settings, or with the link in any alert.
- Opt out of Google Analytics as described in the cookie policy.
Children
Airral is not meant for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell account holders by email about anything significant.
