When you sign in, your browser stores your session so you stay signed in. While you verify your email or reset your password, it briefly remembers the address you typed. This is browser storage rather than cookies. Your session is removed when you sign out.
Our own visitor count
We count visits without cookies. Each visit sends the page and the referring site to our servers, with a code that changes every day and cannot be used to follow you from one day to the next.
Google Analytics
On airral.com and apply.airral.com, Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_* to count visitors and to see where they come from and what devices they use. We send it only the page address, without search terms or anything after it, and we never load it on the email-verification, password-reset or unsubscribe pages. Google signals and ad personalisation are off. Google's own use of this data is described in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Turning Google Analytics off
- Turn on Global Privacy Control or "Do Not Track" in your browser, and Airral will not load Google Analytics at all.
- Or install Google's opt-out browser add-on.
- Clearing or blocking cookies for airral.com also works, and the site still works without them.
